📌San Japan Group Photo, Parade and Panel (September 5)
Now returning for the third year, River City Furry Events will be at SAN JAPAN 17! Better yet…we are hosting the SECOND furry parade…and this time…THROUGH THE CONVENTION CENTER (starting at 12 PM). After having another SAN ANTONIO FURMEET ATTENDANCE RECORD BROKEN, with the MOST FURRIES EVER to show up to a furmeet, Howl and Chow is back, and this time, it’s at a ramen shop located near the heart of downtown, San Antonio! They also WANTED US there! Our community voted overwhelmingly for this venue, and we look forward to invading the place!

📌Game Night! (September 12 | 5 PM)
We gather together for a night of fun board games or battle in card games like MTG or Yu-Gi-Oh. At times, the air will be filled with rhythm games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Fun is the focus, and new players are welcome, as all admins can provide guidance. It’s all SFW, and those 17 and under must have a guardian present.

This event is for those over 21+ years of age!
The Alamo Icebar is literally the coolest place in San Antonio but please understand that this location is extremely tiny and the maximum occupancy is 50. Did I mention that it is literally the coolest place in San Antonio? We're talking about being in the blast freezer, except it has a lounge in it. Great place to escape from the dreaded heat! The nearest parking garage to this place is the One Alamo Center Parking Garage but please plan accordingly!

📌Down the Rabbit Hole at the SAMA (September 13 | 1 PM)
We will be going to the San Antonio Museum of Art to look at their large catalog of ancient and modern artworks, hopefully inspiring many of you! We will be exploring all four floors of the East and West towers, so bring comfortable walking shoes!
Students get in with a $10 discount, so bring your student ID. Tickets can be bought on the website or in person
Fursuits are permitted, but I would recommend not bringing any large tails or wings to prevent any damage to artworks.

🟣Victor's 19th Party at ACFI!
Details: hey guys! I looked at the calendar date for my b day and saw that it falls on ACFI weekend, so I decided, why not have a little party/event! (My b day is actually on the 4th, but since it’s on a Sunday and I’ll be with my family, I thought it’d be better on a Saturday.) I’ll bring some snacks like cookies, bags of chips, and water, but whatever anyone wants to bring to add to the food pool, that’s all good! (Aside from alcohol, I can’t drink lol). So, I’d like to have this event on Saturday, October 3rd, at ACFI around 12:00 p.m. (not super sure if I can get like a room or smth, but we can definitely hang inside and at da pool/other areas within the convention center ;>) Meet-up spot will be at the rooms area by the entrance of the convention center inside. I’m limiting it to 18+ only, only because I’d rather be around people my age and older.
Fursuits: well, it’s a furry convention, of course fursuits are welcome!! If people wear their suits, even better! I love to see all the different suits and fuzzy furs!
